.Dr. Cody Cox

Dr. Cox attended Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA from 2015 to 2018 and graduated with my doctorate of chiropractic. His decision to become a chiropractor came from several contributing factors. It mostly started from his experiences with scoliosis and ultimately scoliosis surgery when I was 17. Even before this he knew he wanted to work in the conservative areas of the medical field. Originally, he wanted to become a physical therapist and got a job as a PT tech, but after several months he decided that I wanted something more hands on and more one on one. After he received his first adjustment he began to research and learn more about chiropractic and the many benefits of chiropractic care. Now he says his goal is to get his patients well but also to improve their daily living, overall quality of life and injury prevention for long term relief.

Outside of chiropractic work he enjoys working out, hiking, camping, fishing, playing videogames, and guitar. Most of all he enjoys spending all the time I can with his wife Lindsey and basset hound Porter.

Dr. Ryan ShawDr. Ryan Shaw

Dr. Ryan Shaw was born into a chiropractic family. His father, brother and uncle have all been blessed with the privilege to serve families through principled chiropractic care. He learned at a young age about the power of the healing potential that exists within each of us and how chiropractic enhances that potential.

His father, Dr. Phillip Shaw, studied under the oversight of Dr. B.J. Palmer, a legend and fountain head of the profession. It was Dr. Palmer’s lessons and ideals of principled chiropractic that fueled his passion to take chiropractic back to central Kentucky where he served his community for 48 years. Dr. Ryan ignited that same passion early on within himself learning those principles, dreaming of helping people in the same way his father did. That dream became a reality when he graduated from Life University in the Fall of 2013.

After school, Dr. Ryan spent several years practicing in a family wellness practice in upstate New York caring for spines of all ages and of many different health concerns. He has been trained in the Webster’s technique and considers it a privilege to care for kids, giving them the best advantage during these critical developmental years establishing a foundation for a lifetime of wellness. He was given the opportunity to serve in one of the largest pediatric chiropractic practices in Georgia and is now providing care for the families of Bowling Green.

In his spare time, Dr. Ryan enjoys fine tuning his golf swing and bowling game. When not on the course or at the bowling alley, you can probably find him outside next to the pool or at the lake. He certainly will never miss a game watching the University of Kentucky Wildcats compete for the next basketball National Championship, or the football team stiving to become a consistent powerhouse of the SEC. Whatever the activity, Dr. Ryan finds it most enjoyable surrounded by his friends and family. It is their love and support that has driven his passion for chiropractic and life.
